Earth Day in Seaford, Long Island

Twenty or thirty years ago, many trees were planted along Merrick Road after the street was widened. On the morning of Earth Day, April 22, 2009, I walked to the Seaford Post Office and found that someone had cut down the two remaining trees located in front of the post office, as shown in the above photos.
